Dallas
Platter is no longer making lampwork beads at Faerie Hollow Studio but please visit Cheri's jewelry page while you are here. |
|||
Dallas began making beads in 2008 and retired from the craft in 2014. He has been building hot rods & working on cars since infancy. He has taken classes in glass blowing and operated a stained glass studio for 10 years in Fort Wayne, "The Great Panes Glass Company," which is still in existence. Welding comes second nature to him so hot glass beads with a torch was a breeze. Cheri uses his creations to make necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants. Dallas's emphasis on lampwork beads will be "new and different styles incorporating silver foil
and unusual shapes." You are invited to watch while he works when you visit… but just like seeing the "fairies," you just have to be here at the right time. |
